I had a really great weekend. On Friday, me, my boyfriend, and his best friend (Alex) went bowling. We went to Bo's and it was so fun. I guess you just have to know Brad and Alex and how they are when they're together. It is just hilarious. They act so crazy and it is so fun to watch. Anyways, so when we got done bowling, we went to the arcade thing. My boyfriend got the new high score on that punching bag thing. Then we left and took Alex home. Then me and Brad went back to my house to hang out. He left at like 11, and then I went to bed.
Then on Saturday, I slept til like 10:30 and that was great because I hadn't got to sleep in for the past 3 weeks. After I ate breakfast, I colored with my niece. Then I went and got ready for the parade. My grandpa is a Shriner and he was in the Shriner's parade in Hickory on Saturday. My mom, both my sisters, my niece and nephew, and my aunt and cousin all went to the parade. My grandpa is in the gator division of the Shriners and he drove a John Deer Gator in the parade. It was so cool. Then we all went to the mall, and my mom bought me and my sisters some new clothes.
Later that night I went to my friend, Caitlin's, halloween party. It was in the building behind her house, and it was so much fun. There were a lot of people there and we all had a great time. At about 10 o'clock my friend Adam wrecked his truck. He got mad about something at the party and when he left he drove into a ditch and busted his radiator. So now his truck won't even move. So, even though he didn't want to, he had to stay at the party. It was kind of funny actually. Me and my boyfriend stayed at the party til about 12 and then we left. I just went home and went to bed.
On Sunday, I went to church and then my family went to Red Lobster. They have like the most amazing lobster tails there. I just love it. So, when we got done eating I went to the grocery store and got all the stuff I needed for that skin project. When I got home, my boyfriend (brad) came over and helped me make the skin. That stuff looks totally disgusting and there is no way I am even going near it. Me and Brad went back to church at 6 o'clock and listened to my preacher's wife, Betsy, and this man in our church named Phil Eller give thier testimony. You see, Phil has had problems with his kidneys since he was a kid and last year the doctors told him he was going to have to have a kidney transplant or he would die. So Phil told our church about the surgery and like 10 people offered to get tested to see if they could be a match for Phil so he could have one of thier kidneys. Betsy was the only match. So they went into surgery on September 11 and everything went perfectly.
After church, me and Brad went to Pancho Villas and ate, then we went to my house and hung out for a while and then he went home and I went to bed. So, I was in bed by like 10 and I was sleeping so good, and then at like 11:20, Brad called me. He asked me what I was doing and I said, "Uh, Sleeping DUH!!!" And he said, "Well I couldn't sleep and I just wanted to hear your voice and I just wanted to tell you that I love you." I thought it was so sweet. I mean its not like that was the first time he had told me he loved me, but it was just so sweet cause it was like the middle of the night and it was JUST SO CUTE!
