There once was a woman named Fanny. She is thirty one years old, and is pregnant with her second child. Her first born child's name is Alex and he is 6 years old. One day, Fanny and Alex were sitting in the living room. Alex was sitting on the floor watching Spangebob and Fanny was sitting at on the couch and addressing christmas cards. When Fanny got the stamps out to put on the cards, Alex looked up at her and said, "Every time you lick a stamp, you gain 1/10 of a pound." Fanny looked down at Alex, extremely puzzled, and said, "Well thank you honey for that very useful bit of information.".
The next day Fanny was having seriously painful contractions, so her husband, John, took her to the hospital. On the way Alex told his mom that he thought babies looked weird because they are so little. Fanny said, "Son, did you know that when your little brother or sister is born he or she will have more bones than you do?" Alex looked at his mother and said, "That's impossible mom, I will be so much bigger than that baby. How will it have more bones than me?" Fanny said, "Babies are born with 300, and by the time they grow up, they only have 206." Alex looked at his dad and said, "Have you already given her the pain medicine? Cause she is talking crazy!"
After the delivery, Fanny, John, Alex and little baby Samantha were sitting in the hospital room and Alex looked at his dad and said, "Why does Samantha look so red and vainy?" John smiled and siad, "One of the reasons is because each square inch of human skin has twenty feet of blood vessels in it. And since your sister is so little, all her blood vessels are kind of crammed in there together." Alex said, "Cool."
